This kit was developed and sold to anyone that owned a record player of the following models and wanted to convert it from Mono to Stereo.

It was the beginning of the LP being mass produced pressed in Stereo and most people only had their ‘gramophones’ wired with a crystal stylus to play mainly 78’s (obviously in mono).

Both channels were then connected to the mono amp in parallel – unless they also upgraded their amp – but at least they could hear both channels.
